Elinda Louise Pagel

God gained an Angel. Elinda Louise Pagel, 70, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at her home, in Murphy, NC. Elinda was born August 24, 1953, in Detroit, MI to Glen and Elsie Dean.

 Elinda, was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt to her family. She was a caretaker before her passing. She loved her job and her clients loved her. She loved with her heart, always there to help anyone. 

God is her Pall Bearer.

Elinda was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Dean; father, Glen Dean; nephew, Glen Santiago. She is survived by sister Pamela Santiago and husband Danny Matheson; sons, Wesley Summerlin, and James Mears; god-son Brett Ingram; grandchildren, Cambria J. Mears, Candace M. Holley Postell, Kayla B. Holley, Marissa Gilmore, and Shyanne Summerlin Green; great-grandchildren, Serenity Holley, Emberlin Postell, Keaton Postell, Journey Gilmore, and Aurora Green.

 She is also survived by nieces, Chelsie & Josh Wheeler, and Millie Santiago and husband Stephan Premdas; nephews, Noah Wheeler, Joseph Santiago, Ernie Cardona, Caitlin Santiago, Mariah Cardona, and Glen Santiago and best friend Regina Jordan.

The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home and Crematory, Murphy Chapel on Saturday, 22nd of June, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
