With grace, strength, and a love that never asked for anything in return, Elinor completed her earthly journey on December 31, 2025. Though our hearts ache in her absence, her spirit remains woven into every life she touched.
Born on August 14, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, Elinor has lived with intention and heart. She was a source of comfort, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love, a presence that made people feel seen, safe, and deeply cared for. Her life was not measured by years alone, but by the depth of love she gave and the resilience with which she lived.
Elinor carried herself with strength, finding joy in the simple moments and meaning in connection. She had a way of turning ordinary days into memories and challenges into lessons, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, perseverance, and compassion.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Denean Lee Jones (and spouse); her son Reginald Kenneth Lee Kitchen (and spouse); grandchildren Iimani, Traveon, Sincere, Adonis, Halo, Ja'siel; her brothers Carl Ervin, Winston Lee, Terence Lee (and spouse); her sister Sharanda Lee; her partner Travis Cooper; her best friend Linda Jones; and all who were blessed to know her that will forever carry her voice, her lessons, and her love forward. She was preceded in death by Barbara Lee (mother), Winston Lee (father), and Reginal Lee (brother), and now rests in eternal peace.
Though she has stepped beyond our sight, she has not left us.
She lives on in stories shared, in laughter remembered, and in the love that binds us always.
A celebration of Elinor's life will be held on January 17th at 3:00 PM at Mountcastle Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor a life beautifully lived and deeply cherished.
