Elisa Conte Obituary

Elisa Conte
April 4, 1941 - Dec. 27, 2025
Mrs. Elisa Conte, 84, passed away peacefully, at home in Monroe, CT, on December 27, 2025, with her family by her side. Born on April 4, 1941, in Minturno, Italy, Elisa brought warmth and love into the lives of all who knew her.
She was the devoted wife of Benny Conte, and a loving mother to her daughters, Lina Paiva and her husband, Joao, and Lisa Leno and her husband, Robert. Elisa took immense pride in her granddaughter, Alicia Leno, affectionately calling her "sweetie pie". Her joy in watching Alicia grow was immeasurable.
Elisa was predeceased by her beloved son, Philip Conte, and grandson, Robert Giovanni Leno. She also mourned the loss of her parents, Giovanni and Maria Brocco, and several siblings who passed before her.
She is survived by her sister, Maria, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember her with great affection.
Family was at the heart of Elisa's life. She found joy in preparing meals for loved ones and cherished holidays filled with laughter, bingo games, and shared traditions. Her cooking was an expression of love that brought people together.
Elisa had a natural elegance-always impeccably dressed with flawless hair and makeup. Her signature red nails reflected both her favorite color and vibrant personality. She also enjoyed playing slot machines, a pastime that brought fun and excitement into her life.
A private service will be held in honor of Elisa's life.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Norwich Hospital, St. Vincent's Hospital, Dr. Davis, Ashley at Family Care, and the compassionate team at Hartford Health Hospice Care.
May Elisa's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Dear Lina and Lisa. So sad to learn that your adorable mom has passed. My heart and sympathy goes out to each of you and to your father. "The death of a mother is the first sorrow we weep without their arms around us". When the sadness feels overwhelming, try to think of memories of her smiling and laughing. It may help to bring you some peace, comfort and the strength to face the days ahead without her. Keep her love in your heart and know she is a Mother Angel now, who will continue to watch over each of you. God Bless. your cousin, Annamaria and family.
