Elisabeth Kallfelz, 85, of Clay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Elisabeth was born in Joehlingen, Germany, on January 12, 1940, the daughter of the late Friederich and Emilie Bohmueller.

Elisabeth immigrated to the U.S. as a teenager. She soon met her future husband at the local German-American Club and shared their common culture at various events throughout the years.

Elisabeth was a dedicated worker, retiring from B.G.Sulzle after many years of loyal service.

She enjoyed the outdoors, puttering in her yard and walking in the neighborhood. Elisabeth especially loved going to Beaver Lake Nature Center, hiking the trails with her daughters. She also looked forward to visiting her sister and family in Germany many times throughout the years.

Family was at the center of Elisabeth's life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who took tremendous pride in her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones sharing love, laughter, and special memories.

Elisabeth is survived by her children: Michelle (Mark) Austin and Gabrielle (Chuck) Hayes-Doran; her grandchildren: Erik Austin, Nicholas (Nicole) Austin, Brandon (Alisha) Hayes, James Doran and Regina Powell; her two great-grandchildren: Avrie and Maiah; and her sister, Christa (Helmut) Fischer, along with one niece and two nephews.

Elisabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Kallfelz.

Services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beaver Lake Nature Center, Baldwinsville, NY.
