Elisha L. Anderson, 42, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Loyola University Medical Center, in Maywood, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 27, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., following visitation.
Elisha Levell Anderson was born August 14, 1983, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Lucille Anderson. He studied culinary arts in college and began a lifelong journey toward becoming a chef, working in both restaurants and fast-food kitchens while building his passion for cooking.
He had a heart of gold and always put his family first. He loved making and listening to music and found joy in cooking whenever he could.
Elisha leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lucille Anderson; daughter, Keziah Anderson; brothers, Quaashie Ali, Semone Tabb, and Kelari Anderson; a favorite aunt, Roslyand Jackson; special sister/cousin, Takeira Hicks; very special friend, Sherry Bear; and a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucille (Gammie) Paris.
