Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Gertsch quietly passed away in her home on March 10, 2026 at age 78. Mrs. Gertsch was the oldest of five siblings. Her brothers, Glen and Nicky Reilly preceded her in death. Her surviving siblings are Frank and Debbie Reilly, Robin and Rich Pollock, and her sister-in-law, Cheryl Reilly. Betty leaves behind her beloved husband, Paul C. Gertsch Sr.; her children, Paul C. Gertsch Jr. and wife, Julia Gertsch; and Scott F. Gertsch; grandchildren, Timothy L. Gertsch and wife, Vanessa Gertsch. Betty also has four great-grandchildren, Hayden (Pope) Gertsch, Zackary Gertsch, Cole Gertsch, and Raelynn Gertsch. 

Mrs. Gertsch was born on January 5, 1948 in New Haven, CT. She lived in East Haven, CT and moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL in 1989. Betty and her husband, Paul, previously founded and owned Street Rods Unlimited. Betty previously volunteered at two location of the New Smyrna VFW's and loved doing for others. 

At Betty's request, services will be private.
