Elizabeth "Tootie" Cranford Cushman, 64, of Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 05, 2025.
She was born in Augusta, Georgia on January 24, 1960, grew up in Thomson, Georgia. Tootie graduated from Thomson High School and visited Prospect United Methodist Church when she was able. Full of love and laughter, she never met a stranger and touched the lives of all who knew her. Tootie was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. A friend to many, she was cherished and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
Tootie is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Cranford and Leila Hutto Cranford Cantrell; her brothers, J. R. Cranford and Ben Cranford, and sister, Dorothy Young. Her survivors include her sons, Ray Cushman (Alison) and Lee Cushman; her brother, Billy "Bubba" Cranford (Eillen); her sisters, Betty Hendricks (J. L.) and Jewel Wilson; her granddaughter, Addi Cushman and numerous special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
