Born on September 28, 1946, in Santa Ana, California, Liz was a cherished soul whose journey through life was marked by devotion to her family, an unwavering spirit of generosity, and a zest for life that was truly infectious.
Liz grew up in the warm embrace of Orange, California, where she attended the local schools and graduated from Orange High School. Her education laid a foundation for a life characterized by service and community, leading her to a fulfilling career as a Library Clerk that spanned nearly four decades. In the quiet corridors between bookshelves, Liz found joy in the simple pleasure of literature and the endless adventures it offered to both her and the countless patrons she assisted over the years.
Her love for a good book was only matched by her love for her family. Liz was the proud matriarch to her son Tony Demara, her daughter and son-in-law Edna and Stephen Miranda, and her beloved granddaughters Ashleigh Landry, Drea Demara, and Ylena Demara. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her sister Mary Mendoza and her brother Andy Espinoza. While she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Urenda and Peter Espinoza, Liz's memory will continue to be a guiding light for her family.
Life for Liz was a canvas, and she painted it with the vibrant colors of her interests and passions. She cherished the moments spent with her granddaughter Ashleigh, with whom she shared a special bond and a home.
