Elizabeth "Betty" Donnelly

Elizabeth A. Donnelly, 90, of Ewing, NJ, entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at home. Betty or "Betty Boop" as she was affectionately known was born and raised in Ewing where she resided her entire life. She attended Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1953.
Betty retired from the Township of Ewing in 1997 as Deputy Clerk. She served as past secretary and treasurer of the Ewing Township Busy C's Senior Club.
A must was her hair appointment weekly by her miracle workers, Teresa and Angie, and manicures and pedicures by Rose.
Among her favorite things to do were water aerobics, and visits to Animal Adventure Park to keep up with her favorite giraffes. Also, playing BINGO on Fridays at the Prospect Heights Fire Company.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Joseph A. Donnelly and Dorothy (Sellner) Donnelly Seiffert (Ed), brothers, Richard A. Donnelly (Patricia "Pat"), and Robert "Red" J. Donnelly (Edith "Sandy"), and her niece Jody Donnelly.
Betty is survived by her brother Richard's children, Richard "Rick" Donnelly and wife Marianne, William "Bill" Donnelly and wife Ellen; Gail Millares; and her brother Robert "Red's" children, Deborah "Debbie" Donnelly, Robert "Bob" Donnelly, Jr., and David Donnelly and wife Sandra;
as well as many great nieces and great nephews along with many close and appreciated friends, especially, Teresa, Angie, Rose, Pat, and Joanna.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Catholic prayer services will be held at noon.
Private burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
