Martha Glahn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home - Ewing on Feb. 2, 2026.
Martha Elizabeth Glahn, 93, of Ewing, NJ, entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born on December 2, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland to parents John and Henrietta Pfeffer. She grew up in Baltimore where her parents owned a German Bakery, which led to her love and skill at baking.
Martha served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years, was a treasurer for the Ewing Township Busy C's Senior Group and loved attending services with her son Richard at the Redeemer Alliance Church in Robbinsville, NJ.
Some of her favorite pastimes were listening to music, singing, doing crossword puzzles each morning, sitting out on her sun porch, gardening, and staying active. She rode her stationary bike up until only a few weeks ago.
She was employed for 40 years with the McDonald's Corporation working in many different capacities over the years in customer service and as a manager at many of the local franchises.
Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Martha was the daughter of the late John Henry and Henrietta Anna (Miller) Pfeffer; beloved wife of the late William J. Glahn; and sister of the late Ruth Rosko.
She is survived by her five devoted children, Richard Glahn and wife Patricia who cared for her and resided with her in her final years, William C. Glahn, Theresa and husband Christopher Shuster, Paul D. Glahn and wife Alicia, and Karen Grace and husband James Knicos; eleven cherished grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Dave Delozier, Emily Glahn, Matthew Glahn and wife Joanna, William C. "J.R." Glahn, Jr., Raymond P. Glahn and wife Kayla, Andrew C. Shuster and wife Kelly, Elizabeth and husband Josh Hardison, Elizabeth Glahn, Kristina "Krissy" and husband Ryan Smith, Katherine and husband Jairo Gomez, and Kimberly Fox and fiance Simon Burke; as well as 17 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Martha gave to many charities. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638.
