Peter Michael "Pete" Glahn

Peter Michael Glahn, 82 of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed from this life on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at WyndRidge Health and Rehab Center in Crossville, Tennessee.
Pete was born on Monday, March 29, 1943, in Syracuse, New York, and he was the son of the late Kenneth H. Glahn and the late Dorothy (Murray) Glahn.
Pete was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Grandpa, and friend. He proudly served in the United States Army for many years. He loved to bowl in his younger years and went golfing in his retired years. He loved to landscape, grill, cook, and work outside, really enjoying retirement. He enjoyed swimming with his grandkids and spending time with his family. Pete was loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
Pete is survived by Wife of 27 years, Colleen (Hixson) Glahn; 3 Sons, Jeffrey Glahn, Jason Fittin and his wife, Kat, and Josh Fittin and his wife, Amanda; Daughter, Julianna Glahn and her fiancee, LeMar Gray; 5 Grandchildren, Hayden, Zoey, Ann, Eloise, and Rowan Fittin; A host of special friends.
In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by 6 Brothers, Kenneth, David, Brewster, George, Stephen, and Christopher.
Pete chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life may be held at a later date.
