Roberto Lopez

Roberto López, 77, entered the Lord's kingdom on December 23, 2025 with his family at his side. He was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala to parents Castulo Lopez and Aracelia Mayorga. In his younger years Roberto was the light at all the parties, a true social butterfly. He would commingle with the crowd, dance, and joke around. Roberto enjoyed listening to 70's Rock & Roll music. He also enjoyed playing soccer and drumming with his band. Roberto dedicated twenty years of service working at Princeton Medical Center. During his working years he loved traveling with his family, and making carne asada during his many cookouts. He was the glue that kept his family united. In 1986 Roberto achieved the goal of buying his most desired vehicle, a brand new Chevy Camaro.
Predeceased by his grandson Brian Davila, he leaves to mourn his beautiful wife of fifty one years Berta, three daughters: Astrid Lopez, Denise (Gilmer) Davila, and Tracey (Francisco) Morataya. Roberto also leaves his grandchildren who were the lights of his life, and his pride and joy. He loved his grandchildren: Kevin Davila, Christopher Davila, Jonathan Davila, Alejandro Morataya and Adriana Morataya more than life itself.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Parkside Brenna Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave, Ewing, NJ on Friday January 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Catholic services will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
