Gennaro "Jerry" Valenza, of Marshfield, Vermont, formerly from Ewing, New Jersey, born on June 9, 1953, passed away in his home on the evening of March 19, 2026. Predeceased by his mother Pasqualina DeBlassio-Valenza his father John W. Valenza, his brother John J. Valenza, his fathers-in-law Paul John Medkiff and James A. Quigley. He is survived by his wife Edwina "Winnie" Valenza, his daughter Sherry (Todd) Greener, his son Paul John Valenza, his grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Greener and Jacob Valenza, his bonus daughter Nicole Feehan, and his bonus son Samuel Hedrick. He leaves behind his mother-in-law, Elsie Jane Quigley, his sister-in-law Diane (Bill) Sayers, his brother-in-law Thomas Patrick Quigley his nieces and nephews, Dawn (Paul) Pitcher, Buddy (Brooke) Laflin, Dr. John J. Valenza (Betsy), Kelsey Quigley, Thomas James "T.J." Quigley and many great .nieces, great nephews, and many other loved ones. Jerry was also blessed with a Cousin Thomas "Tom" and his wife Jackie DiMatteo who were his saving grace in his final days.

A longtime member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Ewing, New Jersey. Jerry played the guitar and was a member of the BC Band with his life-long friend Robert "Bobby" (Mary) Comisky. Jerry was an avid train lover, he enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar and loved spending time with his family and friends. He served in the Army National Guard and was a computer programmer analyst at Mercer Medical Center for 23 years before being a computer analyst for the State of Vermont. When traveling to visit his family and friends in New Jersey he enjoyed DeLorenzo's Tomato Pie and Cheese Steaks.

A celebration of life for friends and family will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Jerry's name to a charity of your choice.
