Elizabeth Rowe Dunivan

Elizabeth Rowe Dunivan of Richmond, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2025 at the age of 86, survived by her son, James E. Dunivan and his wife Margaret Jackson Dunivan, and her daughter, Karen Dunivan Konvicka. In 2009 she was preceded in death by her husband of almost fifty years, J. Edward Dunivan. Born to Wesley Voltaire Rowe and Louis Milby Rowe on June 4, 1938 in Granite, Virginia, she graduated from Manchester High School and The Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia. She was an elementary school teacher who even after retiring remained a wonderful and enthusiastic teacher, especially for her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Dunivan Sias (who with her husband, Kevin, has Jay, Eddie, Emma Grace, Archer and Logan), James Edward Dunivan, III, Lauren Dunivan Brodkorb (who with her husband, Cory, has Porter, Audrey and Sawyer), Jackson Louis Dunivan, Charles Barner Konvicka and Sidney Rowe Konvicka.

The family will have a private graveside service followed by a reception at her daughter's home from 3:00 - 6:00 on Saturday afternoon, April 12, 2025.

I was a flower girl in Betty and Ed´s wedding when I was 5. I remember it like it was yesterday.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they share memories and celebrate Betty´s life.
