Elizabeth Eudy Obituary
Elizabeth Jennette Eudy, 76, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at home.
Jennette was born January 16, 1947 in North Carolina to the late Fred Lee Bailey and the late Edna Bailey.
She was also preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Bagwell, Polly Mason, and Alta Poplin.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow immediately after visitation on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Barbee. Burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery at 1397 North Main Street, Oakboro, North Carolina.
Jennette was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and going to Cherokee to play in the casinos. She also loved her cat, Shadow, and keeping her mind busy with word puzzles. But Jennette loved her family above all else and would often sacrifice her own needs for others.
Survivors include husband, Johnny F. Eudy of Oakboro, NC.; daughter, Sandy (Bryan) Burris; grandchildren, Hunter and Ashley Burris; brother, Ronald Lee Bailey; sisters, Julia Carter, Annette Jones, Diane Kimrey, and Deborah Huneycutt.
Donations may be made to Alzheimers or dementia association of your choice.
