Elizabeth Ezell

Funeral services for Elizabeth Ezell, 63, of Baskin, will be 10 am Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Dennard officiating. Interment will be in South Central Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the funeral home.

Elizabeth was born April 4, 1962, in Winnsboro to the union of the late J. D. McFarland and Doris Marie Greer McFarland and passed from this life on March 29, 2026, at her home in Baskin.

She is preceded in death by her father; and her son, Scott Wallace.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Doris McFarland of Baskin; husband and friend Bill Ezell of Gilbert; one sister, Marie Barber and her husband Danny of Baskin; her daughter Bethany Wallace of Baton Rouge; two grandsons: Allen Michael Emfinger of Liddieville, and Samuel Joseph Moran of Baton Rouge; nephew, Brian Barber and his wife Beth Ann and their son Levi; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Allen Michael Emfinger, Sammy Moran, Bill Ezell, Ernie Ezell, Brian Barber, and Willie Greer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Barber, Danny Barber, and Danny Wallace.
