Private family graveside services for Mr. Dennis Malvin Mullican will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, in the Northeast Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery in Rayville, LA with Rev. Rick Aultman and Corey Carter officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
We mourn the passing of Mr. Dennis Malvin Mullican, 77, of Baskin, LA, a devoted Vietnam War Veteran, who passed away on March 9, 2026. After his service to his country, he devoted many years to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, MS, where he worked in the Engineering Department. Beyond his career, he found peace and joy in fishing and working on the family farm, a passion he carried throughout his life.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Malvin and Julie Mullican and his brother, Andrew Mullican.
Survivors include his daughter, Jerri Johnston and her daughter, Briley; brothers, John Mullican and Steve Mullican; sisters, Kathaleen Doughty, Margie Andrews and husband, Buddy, Barbara Taylor and husband, Mike, and Susie Taylor and husband, Bill; special nephew, Micah Mullican and his wife, Victoria along with a host of other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joey Jarrette, Jayme Taylor, Micah Mullican, Cody Hargrove, Mike Dejean, and Lorand Csoma.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the American Heart Association.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him!
