Elizabeth Mary Fellhoelter (nee French), age 75, passed away November 8, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Medina, Ohio.  She was born April 14, 1947 in Dunoon, Scotland to Arthur and Agnes French.  She was a loving and devoted wife for 54 years to her favorite sailor, Melvin Fellhoelter, of Medina, Ohio.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, Melvin Fellhoelter, children Diana Fisher of Medina, OH, Pamela Ruesch of Plattsburgh, NY, John and Anne Fellhoelter of Port Orange, FL, sister Nancy Rowan of Chesapeake, VA, niece Brenda Lent of Chesapeake, VA, grandchildren Elizabeth and Craig Rinkes of Brunswick, OH, and Dylan Ruesch of Plattsburgh, NY, and Rev. Kelly Aughenbaugh of St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Medina, Ohio) who administered last rites.

Forever will never be enough time with this beautiful and sassy soul.  Liz is now at peace after her long battle with emphysema.  She was surrounded by so much love and brought so much light anywhere she went.  The world could take a few notes from her feisty fighting Scottish spirit.  A true Scottish queen who always made everyone feel welcomed and loved through her kindness and sense of humor. The world lost one gem of a human being and Heaven gained one.  Elizabeth is a new star, shining bright, like she did here on Earth.

Liz's proudest accomplishment was raising her family and watching them grow.  Proud mother of Diana, Pamela, and John; feisty grandmother to Elizabeth "Bizz," Dylan, Matthew, and Abigail;  then being promoted to Great-Grandmother "GIGI" to Ryanne whom with she enjoyed many tea parties and "surfing" lessons to The Beach Boys.

She worked in retail for many years making people happy. Her most memorable being Woolworths (Dunoon, Scotland), Ziegler's (Medina, Ohio), Shirley's (Medina, Ohio) and retired from AI Root (Medina, Ohio).

Liz not only loved her human family, but her love extended to countless homeless animals, fostering more than 500 puppies/dogs over a 20 year period with various rescue organizations.  Her current rescue, a Scottish Terrier, Piper, will miss her until they meet again.  Liz was also very proud that her yard was a 'Certified Wild Life Habitat' by the National Wild Life Federation.

She is survived by husband of 54 years, Melvin "Jay" Fellhoelter; daughters, Diana Fisher and Pamela Ruesch; son, John (Ann) Fellhoelter; granddaughters, Elizabeth "Bizz" (Craig) Rinkes (nee Fisher) and Abigail Fellhoelter; grandsons, Dylan Ruesch and Matthew Motil; great-granddaughter, Ryanne Elizabeth Rinkes; sisters, Nancy (Frank) Rowan and Jennifer French; brothers, Arthur (Cathy) French and Stephen (Ruth) French who reside in Scotland.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Agnes French and younger sister, Anne McCready.
