Elizabeth Foody Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, L.L.C. - Flint on Mar. 1, 2025.
It is with deep sadness that Elizabeth Mae Foody, 75, of Flint, Michigan, being raised in Stephentown, New York, passed away on February 16, 2025. Born on December 29, 1949, in Niskayuna, NY, Elizabeth entered this world a day before her beloved mother, Audrey. This unique bond foreshadowed a life marked by deep connections and unwavering devotion to family. Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of the late Francis and Audrey Foody, prominent members in the Stephentown Federated Church community. A woman of many talents, Elizabeth possessed a keen intellect and a thirst for knowledge. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force, where she met the love of her life fittingly, at a St. Patrick's Day Party in 1974, She is survived by her first love of 23 years, John, and children born of that great love, Rebecca, and Amanda (her husband, Bob), grandchildren, and even a great grandchild, as well as her siblings, Thomas Foodland Mary Foody, and many nieces and nephews. Her children, who always yearned for just a little more time, a little more laughter, and a little more of her presence, will forever feel the emptiness left by her absence. An Irish celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on March 15, 2025, in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her: https:// everloved.com/life-of/elizabeth foody/donate/ to assist them with the expenses of Elizabeths passing. (Donation button below Events button.)
