Elizabeth "Ribnicker" Franks

Elizabeth Franks, 93, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 29, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband John; her parents Paul and Elizabeth Ribnicker and siblings Paul and Ann. She is survived by her daughter Sherry (John) Iversen; grandchildren Michael (Jamie), Jessica (Jason) and Justin; great-grandchildren Dylan, Rylan, Kailer and Fionn. Elizabeth was born in Binghamton, NY on August 13, 1932 and graduated from Johnson City High School Class of 1950. She was employed by several local construction companies as a secretary and ended her career at Torto Construction, after many years of service. Elizabeth took great pride in her ability to cook, ,which always filled the air of her kitchen and brought her family close. Elizabeth loved polka music and dancing and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Her family was the center of her universe and that was evident in everything she did for everyone she loved.

Per Elizabeth's wishes there will not be a service. The immediate family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date.
