Elizabeth Burruss Goodson, 67, of Dawsonville, GA passed away March 14, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Elizabeth was born in Cumming, GA to the late Ed and Vivian Bagley Burruss. Mrs. Goodson was of the Baptist faith and a member of Concord Baptist Church. The most important thing in her life was her family, especially her three grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Byron Goodson; daughters and sons in-law, Bethany and Brannon Bennett, Jennifer, and Charlie Crowe; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bennett, Elizabeth Keys, Zack Bennett; sister and brother in-law, Ruth and Mark Rosenberg; brother and sister in-law, Darrell and JoAnne Burruss; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Brody Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, March 15, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 2:00 pm until service time at 4:00pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
