Not sure what to say?

I knew Betti Sue during my younger years while she was dating a family friend. Every interaction I had with her was a positive one and it was evident she cared very much about others. I have good memories of a visit with her at the bank and we shared many meals together. Also, she had a way of putting things in perspective and a good sense of humor. I am sure she is terribly missed and her family will be in my thoughts.

Bettie Sue was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. I will always treasure her smile, wit, and zest for life.

Sending condolences to the family and friends of the unforgettable Ms. Hedrick. We both had her as a teacher at Matoaka High School in the’70’s and have fond memories of those times. We respected her very much and were sorry to learn of her passing.

Some people shine too brightly to ever be forgotten.
Betti Sue, you were always special to me and I loved you dearly.
Thank you for the memories.
I will miss you.

Betti Sue was my Home-Room Teacher in her first year at Matoaka. I have so many memories of her support and encouragement. Back sometime in the 70s Betti Sue invited me to join her and visit with Ms. Norent Holston, the former Asst. Principal at Matoaka High School. Ms. Holston took us out to a fine dinner at her Country Club with great food and lots of good Wine. It was a very joyful evening discussing almost all life situations. It was the last time I saw Ms. Holston but I have seen...

Love's last gift....Remembrance

Betti Sue was a very thoughtful and kind lady. She was a great friend to my sister. Sorry that she has passed.

Miss Hedrick was mine and Buddy's teacher at Matoaka High School but she was also our friend.
We will never forget our birthday, anniversary, class reunions and just being a friendly dinner out with her. She was always there for us even when I lost my parents.
Visiting her at Glenwood was such a blessing. We talked and laughed about old times.
I can still hear her laugh.
Our hearts are broken, but I know that you aren't in pain any more
Loved you dearly. And I know...

Sad news...nice lady ...i always enjoyed seeing her at school ..god bless to the family
