Elizabeth Myrna (McCombs) Kelly "Kitty", passed peacefully at her home in Junction City, Kansas on November 27, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born on March 23, 1945 in Homestead, Pennsylvania.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; father, Vance McCombs Sr. and mother, Cecilia (McCellan) McCombs; brother Vance McCombs Jr.; and sisters Andrea Chojnacki and Jane Cieslewiz.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Glenn Kelly Jr. (US Army Retired); children Johnna Strait of Lutz, Florida, Donna Miller of Crossville, Tennessee, Thomas (Corie) Strait of Zepherhills, Florida, Veronica (Michael) Terstegen of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Jean Kelly of Junction City, Kansas, and her dog Nikki. Elizabeth and Glenn have 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth's life was one marked by strength, and an unwavering spirit. Elizabeth embraced a life of dedication and resilience supporting her family in the role of a military wife.
The Kelly home was a place where generations gathered to share stories and create memories. She loved traveling, visiting Graceland where she enjoyed singing and admiring "Elvis", and also loved trips to Mt. Rushmore.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her, and inspiration to those who follow in her footsteps.
