Mrs. Elizabeth Howell Kidd, age 90 of Hartwell, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. Born May 2, 1935, in Anderson, SC to the late Issac Craft and Nellie Mae (Brady) Howell. Elizabeth was of the Baptist faith and worked at Dairy Queen for 30 years.
In addition to her parents Elizabeth is Preceded in death by her husband Jack Kidd. Son Stevie Kidd, and one brother Junior Howell. Eight Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren or great- great grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her Daughter Carol Culpepper (Billy), grandson reared in the home Brighton Pickens, sister Joyce Hughes, and brother Dean Howell.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Nancy Hart Memorial Park following the service.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors of 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell, GA.
