Lisa Dawn Kidd

Lisa Dawn Kidd, aged 57, passed away on March 8, 2026, in San Angelo, having been born in Odessa, Texas, on July 12, 1968, to Penny Gordon Farris and Roy Dean Farris.

A proud, loving mother, grandmother and equally devoted daughter and sibling. Her greatest joy was her family. Lisa leaves behind her father Roy Farris; her children, Colton Kidd and his spouse Tatiana, Jordan Kidd and his spouse Stori, and Kourtney Arredondo and her spouse Francisco; her brothers, Gordon and Rusty Farris; her sister, Geni Bell; and her adored grandchildren who she would spend as much time with as she could creating memories filled with laughter, love and warmth, Jacik, Rylan, Kloe, Josiah, Faithlyn, Brooklyn, Jeremiah and Addilyn, will all carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and humor.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother Penny Gordon Farris.

Lisa treasured being a grandmother most of all and was known as "Mini" to all of her grandchildren. Lisa will be fondly remembered for her diverse interests and hobbies. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, she rarely missed a game, cheering on her team. Lisa loved spending time at the lake.

Lisa also had a tender love for animals, fostering many throughout her life and bringing comfort to those without a home. Her sense of responsibility for those creatures that couldn't speak for themselves spoke volumes about her compassionate character.

Though she is no longer with us, the memories and values Lisa instilled in those around her will continue to inspire and guide. Her laughter, her care, and her zest for life are the imprints she leaves behind-indelible marks on the hearts of her loved ones. Lisa Dawn Kidd's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the simple joy of experiencing life's many wonders. She will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in the tales that will be told and the memories that will be lovingly held close.

A memorial service will be held at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Friday March 13, 2026, at 2pm. Officiating will be Mike Bartlett.
