Doll Shuffield Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory - West Odessa on Feb. 25, 2026.
We gather today to honor the life of Sally 'Doll' (Roberson) Shuffield, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away peacefully of natural causes on February 25,2026, in Odessa, Tx. Born on October 5, 1938, in Paris, Texas, Doll's life was a tapestry of love, service, and unwavering faith.

Doll's journey began as the daughter of Troy and Cora (Hampton) Robertson. She grew up in a bustling household alongside her siblings. While she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Travis and Calvin Roberson, and sisters Mary 'Sis' Womack, Josephine Carnell, and Joyce Hoadley, her memories are cherished by her surviving brother, James (Peggy) Roberson of Hobbs, NM.

The true essence of Doll's life was her role as the heart and soul of her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Charles Shuffield, and their loving daughters, Teresa (Earl) Cano of Odessa, Shiela (Ross) Valigura of Lubbock, TX, and Rebecca (Wayne) Russell of Odessa. Doll's legacy of love continues through her six grandchildren, Amy, Cody, Brian, Amanda, Zach, And Chad, and her five great-grandchildren, Madi, Landon, Addy, Elizabeth, and Judah, who will forever cherish her memory.

Doll's spirit was one of service and dedication. She was renowned for being the best wife, mother, caregiver, and servant, embodying a faith-filled life that inspired everyone around her, her loving and spirited Nature was complemented by a hint of sass, making her all the more endearing to those who knew her. Doll never wavered in her loving, devoted attitude and remained committed to being the best servant of God.

Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Doll had a servant's heart and loved her church family, caring deeply for children and babies. Her presence was a blessing to those who had the privilege of Knowing her, and her impact on her community was profound.

Doll will be remembered as a beacon of love and strength, a woman who's spirited and faith-filled life was a testament to her character. She embraced every moment with grace and joy, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate through the generations.

As we say farewell to Sally 'Doll' (Roberson) Shuffield, let us hold onto the precious memories and the profound lessons she imparted. Her love story is not one that ends but rather continues to unfold in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her remarkable spirit. Rest in peace, Doll, and may your legacy of love and service continue to inspire us all.
