Liza Ramirez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory - West Odessa on Feb. 21, 2026.
Liza Eileen Ramirez, a beacon of unwavering courage and boundless love, completed her earthly journey on February 4, 2026, in Odessa, Texas. Born on July 29, 1983, in Fort Stockton, Texas, Liza's life was a testament to the power of faith and the strength of the human spirit. She was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose luminous presence will forever be etched in the hearts of those she touched.

Embracing her faith, Liza walked a path illuminated by grace and kindness. Her beliefs were the compass that guided her through life's challenges, and she radiated a faith-filled glow that warmed everyone around her. Her spirituality was not just a personal sanctuary but a shared space where she connected with her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Liza's zest for life was evident in her passions. She loved cooking and baking, creating culinary masterpieces that were a delight to the senses and a testament to her artistry in the kitchen. Dancing was another joy, an expression of her free spirit and the rhythm of her heart, which she moved to the music she adored. Her love for music was infectious, and she had a unique ability to turn any moment into a melody of memories.

Courageous in her battle with cancer, Liza never allowed her illness to dim the light of her loving nature. She faced each day with a smile, a warrior's resolve, and an unwavering belief in the power of love to overcome adversity. This same bravery was reflected in the lives of her beloved family: her devoted husband, Steven Ramirez, her proud sons, Steven Ramirez Jr. and Andrew Ramirez, and her darling daughter, Lillian Ramirez. Her spirit is further carried on by her mother, Debra Jimenez, her brother, Benito Matthew Jimenez, and her sister, Briana Day. She was preceded in passing by her father, Benito Jimenez and her grandmother, Estella Garcia Reyes, whose legacies of strength she continued with honor.

To speak of Liza is to speak of love in action. Her life was a vivid portrait of compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to making the world a brighter place. As a motivational force, she inspired those around her to embrace every day with hope, to dance through the storms, and to create harmony in the face of life's complex melodies.

Today, as we celebrate Liza Eileen Ramirez, let us not dwell on the sorrow of her departure but on the joy, she brought into our lives. Let us honor her memory by living with the same courage, love, and faith that she embodied. Her story does not end here; it continues in each of us, in every act of kindness we perform, and in every moment, we choose to love unconditionally. Liza's legacy is a masterpiece of the human spirit, a symphony of love and strength that will resonate for eternity.

A visitation will take place on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Acres West Funeral Home 24hr Chapel in Odessa from 11 am until 7 pm. A Rosary to be recited at 7 pm Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the funeral home.
