Elizabeth “Lib” Perry Nault, age 87, of Asheboro passed away on December 15, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Mrs. Nault was born in Henderson, NC on May 20, 1938 to Frank and Eula Morgan Perry. Lib retired from the Aerospace Industry and was a member of First E&R United Church of Christ. Lib was an extremely motivated, independent, loving and caring lady, who was also a talented artist and a very smart businesswoman. She enjoyed being involved in the community and active in the Red Hat Society, the Marine Corps League, and the Randolph County Republican Women. Lib was a volunteer with the Randolph Cancer Center. In her earlier years, Lib loved playing golf and traveling with her husband, Russ.

In addition to her parents, Lib was preceded in death by her husband, Russell “Russ” Nault and her fur baby, Precious.

She loved her family very much and was very close to her many cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 1:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 2:00 pm at the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel with Rev. Dave Cash officiating. Burial will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First E&R United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 1002, Asheboro, NC 27204 or the Marine Corps League, P.O. Box 2431, Asheboro, NC 27203-2431.
