Elizabeth M. Lloyd

Elizabeth M Lloyd passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Her family was with her when she passed.

She was born on May 1, 1931, in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania to Henry (Heinrich) and Elizabeth Toth Krahling. She is survived by a son, Paul F Lloyd II and his wife, Mary Fasshauer Lloyd of Honesdale, a grandson, Greg Lloyd and his wife, Jeanna Lloyd of Reston, Virginia. Also surviving is her sister, Henrietta Krahling Gaskins, her daughter, Darlene Gaskins and son, Jimmy Gaskins, all of Orlando, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Paul F Lloyd, predeceased her on June 18, 1987.

Liz was a hairdresser, with a shop in her home on North Main Street for many years. Her clients would gather there weekly no matter the weather.

She was a member of Grace Ridge Church in Honesdale, and the Honesdale Golf Club. She enjoyed a round of golf or playing cards with her friends at the golf club.

Liz lived a good long life while enduring many health challenges. She will be missed.

Her family would like to thank the staff of the Wayne Memorial Hospital, especially the ER and ICU nurses and physicians for their compassionate care. Also, Rev Michael Lyle of Grace Ridge Church for his prayers and visit in the ICU. He knew how dedicated she was to the March Madness games and put the game on the tv so she could listen to it in her last hours of life.

There will be a graveside service for family members on Tuesday, March 24th at 12:30 in St. John s Lutheran Cemetery, Honesdale. Arrangements are made by the Hessling Murray Funeral Home.
