Elizabeth Lovette Obituary
September 18, 1938 - July 3, 2025
Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Lovette, age 86, of Omaha, NE, passed away July 3, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Betty was born September 18, 1938, in Council Bluffs, IA to the late Chester and Dorothy (Shelbaer) Morris. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1957. Betty married Larkin Lovette on June 4, 1960, in Council Bluffs. They were blessed with four sons, Larry, Rick, Steve, and Greg. Betty retired from the Chevrolet Division of General Motors after a 39-year career. She was a member of Renewed Hope Church in Omaha. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin, sons, Larry and Rick, grandson, Jason Lovette, sister and brother-in-law, Barbara "Bobby" and Jack Schultz. Betty is survived by her sons, Steve (Deb) Lovette, Greg (Sue) Lovette, daughters-in-law, Mary and Cindy Lovette, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brothers, Roy (Shirley) Morris, Virgil (Verla) Morris, Mike (Sherry) Morris, Joe (Deb) Morris, nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. with sharing of memories at 7:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Memorials are suggested to Renewed Hope Children's Dept. Remodeling Project.
