Nana... miss you
Katie
July 15, 2024
Miss you so much Nana Lil, You were the sweetest Nana ever. You always made all your grandchildren feel so loved and adored, and we all miss you so much.
I had a flashback today of that song we used to sing as little kids on our drive up to Metuchen to come visit you and Aunt Maureen.
Chanting loudly the entire ride, with Dad leading the chorus... (I think it's the only time where he wouldn't yell at us for being too loud)
We're going to Nana Lil's, YAY!
We're going to Nana Lil's, YAY!
Yay Yay Yay!
We're going to Nana Lil's!!!
Repeat on loop mode until Edith Ave.
I miss you, Pop pop John, and Aunt Maureen every day. I take comfort in knowing you are with Pop Pop, Maureen, your triplets, your parents, brothers, and many good friends... all resting peacefully together. xoxo
