Elizabeth Frances Orzechowski (nee Prominski) passed away quietly on April 1, 2025.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, July 1930, Elizabeth moved to Red Bank NJ at the age of 6. She was a graduate of Red Bank Regional High School. Elizabeth attended Payne Hall and Monmouth College obtaining her certification in Medical Technology and went on to pursue a career as a Medical Technologist ultimately retiring from Lab Corp.
Elizabeth was a member of the Catholic daughters of America for many years and served as Past Regent. She was an active member of the Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven, NJ.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband Edward Orzechowski, son John Peter ( J.P.) Orzechowski, her parents Marie and Peter Prominski as well as her brother Peter B. Prominski. Elizabeth is survived by her son Paul Orzechowski and his wife Mary Ann, her daughter Marianne Breitenbruck and her husband Corey. Grandchildren Emily Snyder and her fiancé Paul Valentine, Paul E Orzechowski Jr., Corey E. Breitenbruck and his spouse Jess, Noel Rivera, and Travis Breitenbruck and his fiancée Kimber. Elizabeth is also survived by 7 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 9th from 4-8pm at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701. A mass will be held at 10am at Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven followed by interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
