Mrs. Ann Price was one of a kind. It did not take long to see what a caring couple came to live next to us after a rotation of a few families. She and Mr. Price were so friendly and caring. This did not happen over time. This was immediate because of the type of people they were. They always looked out for us. Mrs. Price always called me if there was an unusual car in the driveway when no one was home. We would check on each other. I would be traveling and stop to call to make sure to tell her we were out of town. We would check on each other´s families. She loved our children, Ethan and Keri. She would let my daughter come in the afternoon after school and play with Gigi. She would always make sure they had treats for Halloween, gifts for Christmas and birthdays or just because.
Mrs. Price fought a good fight. There were times that I thought I would get a call or text from Dawn but then she would get out of the hospital. The call finally came and it broke our hearts. As a physician, you have a different perspective but you are still human. I have tears of sorrow but also of joy for her. We truly missed Mr. Price and we know she did too. Now they are back together joined by their loving son Rodney knowing they all touched each of us in a special way.
We will love and miss you always Neighbor,
The Spooner Family
