Elizabeth M. "Betty" Weigle, 94, of Lenhartsville, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 in her residence.

Born August 12, 1931, parents William and Elizabeth (Westwood) Angstadt. She had 5 biological brothers and 2 sisters who are all deceased. She lived with Herbert and Viola Miller, her foster parents, beginning at age 16, and had 6 foster brothers, and 1 foster sister. She married Lee Weigle on December 5, 1954 and had 66 wonderful years of marriage until Lee passed in 2021.

She is survived by two children: Beverly (Weigle) Thomason, and Steven Weigle, husband of Tina (Ely) Weigle; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter: Adele. Betty will be missed by her family.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 at 7:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
