Elizabeth Ann White

PETERSTOWN, WV – Elizabeth Ann White, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Lindside Healthcare Center in Lindside, WV. Born May 22, 1945, in Princeton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Arthur Goodall and Nell Workman Goodall.

Ann was a member of the Peterstown Worship Center (formerly Peterstown United Methodist Church). She was also a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Peterstown O.E.S. Chapter #118. She was a dedicated schoolteacher, with most of her teaching career taking place in Monroe County. She enjoyed working with flowers and ceramics.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Gary White; one son, David Gary White and wife Brenda of North Tazewell, VA; one granddaughter, Amanda Belcher and husband Austin of Roanoke, VA; one great grandchild, Ellis Belcher; her dear friend, Wayne Spangler; and many other special friends. Additionally, the family would like to thank the Lindside Healthcare Center Staff for their excellent care during Ann's stay.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Dr. John Sauvage and Pastor Matt Sauvage officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Peterstown Worship Center (PO Box 423, Peterstown, WV 24963) or to the Monroe County Education Foundation (PO Box 90, Union, WV 24983).
