Elizabeth Camille Wynja

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Wynja, affectionately known to her family and friends as Lizzy, who went home to be with her Lord Jesus on December 9, 2024. Elizabeth, whose maiden name was Benton, was a devoted spouse, loving mother, a caring nurse, and cherished friend, whose life was a testament to faith, kindness, and compassion.
Born with a spirit of joy, Elizabeth dedicated her life to her family and her unwavering love for Christ. She was a wonderful wife to her beloved husband, Gary Wynja, whose love and partnership she held dear. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and warmth.
Elizabeth is survived by her caring husband, Gary, her brother Paul Benton, her doting daughter Cherie Zucati, and her beloved stepdaughter Mahayley Wynja- McGee. She was the heart of her family, a beloved matriarch who lived for her children and grandchildren, relishing every moment for the opportunity to care for somebody else.
A devout follower of Jesus, Elizabeth often spoke of her deep faith and her dream of worshiping at the feet of her Savior. Her fervent spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her, and her legacy of love, grace, and compassion will be felt for generations to come. Known for her joyful spirit and beautiful smile, Elizabeth brought warmth to everyone she encountered, leaving a mark on the lives of many with her selfless nature and open heart.
In honoring Elizabeth's life, her family invites those who knew her to remember her with fondness and to celebrate the profound impact she had on the lives of so many. Elizabeth Camille Wynja will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
