Ella Jane Ohliger

Ella Jane Ohliger, age 95, of Rocky River, formerly of Canton, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2025. She was born in Macksburg, Ohio on October 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Norman and Elsie (Medley) Chidsey. Ella was a Homemaker. She was a member of the 11th Street Church of God. She was an excellent baker especially known for her pies.
On January 16th, 1951 Ella married Thomas "Ted" E. Ohlinger who preceded her in death in 2001. Survivors include her son, Greg A. (Ally) Ohliger; daughters, Debra Fukano; Karen Mahaffie, and Judy Tabor; along with her 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Thomas "Ted", Ella was preceded in death by her brother, William Chidsey; and sister, Joyce Miller.
Funeral services will be held at Reed Funeral Home NORTH CANTON Chapel (Pittsburg Ave.) on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 AM till service time.
