She never remarried yet remained a loving mother to her stepdaughter Virginia.Marie's life was anything but boring. Living life on her own terms led to many adventures. From the early days of jumping trains, riding in Play Days, to selling Avon and chasing Garage Sales with her sister Ruth, Marie lived life to the fullest. She was always ready for anything. Whether it was playing games, road trips, or rocking babies, - SHE WAS THERE. Marie had an open ear, compassionate heart, words of wisdom and unconditional support for everyone she loved. With all the changes in this world during her 96 years, a few things remained the same- her faith in the Lord, her loving heart, strong will towards things she believed in and her fierce dedication to her family. Marie was one of a kind and true to herself. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who love her.
