Ella Louise Smith, age 81, peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on October 24, 2025. Born on March 5, 1944, in Washington DC., She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Minnie May Reed. Ella was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luke Brown Smith Sr., her daughter, Brenda Sue Simmons; three brothers, William, Henry, and Robert; and three sisters, Eva, Rose, and Ruth.
She is lovingly survived by her three sons, Jerry (Phyllis), Luke Jr., and Jeffery Smith; son-in-law, Hollis Simmons; her sister, Mary (Mike) Kendall; and her brother, John (Teresa) Reed.
