Ellamina Laphon Bargabos

"It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Ellamina Laphon Bargabos, who passed away unexpectedly on September 15th, 2024, at the age of 20. Ellamina, or "Ella" as many knew her, was born on October 31, 2003, in Palmer, Alaska. From the moment she came into this world, she brought an adventurous spirit and an infectious vibrancy to everyone around her.
Ella's deep love for animals, art, and travel defined much of her beautiful and too-short life. Whether she was caring for a stray, creating a breathtaking piece of artwork, or exploring new corners of the world, she lived with an open heart and boundless curiosity. Her talent as an artist was undeniable, and her works reflected her passion, creativity, and the unique way she saw the world.
Ella leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted parents, Heidi and Steve Bargabos; her sisters Sophia Bargabos and Maggie Bagabos and her brother, Luke Bargabos. She is also survived by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who were touched by her kindness, her joy, and her unyielding zest for life.
A service to celebrate Ellamina's life will be held on Thursday, September 26th, at 1:00 PM at 1015 South Check Street, Wasilla, AK. A gathering to remember her joyful spirit will follow at The Grandview, 2900 E Parks Hwy, Wasilla, AK 99654. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to the Mat-Su Animal Shelter in Ella's name, as a tribute to her love for all creatures, great and small.
Following the services, Ellamina will be cremated, in keeping with the family's wishes. Though she has left this world far too soon, Ella's adventurous soul will live on in our hearts, in her art, and in the countless lives she touched.
Rest peacefully, sweet Ella. You will forever be missed and always loved."
