Born in Winchester, Virginia, to Forrest E. Jones and Lucille Lovett Jones, Ellen dedicated her life to education and childcare, graduating from Elizabethtown College and spending many years as a compassionate and inspiring educator and caregiver to children.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Cliffton Anderson, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.
Ellen is lovingly remembered by her sons, Michael Bryan Anderson, and John David Anderson, along with her six treasured grandchildren: Korey, Forrest, Emmy, Harper, Ellis, and Holden Anderson.
Her quiet strength, kind heart, and enduring grace will live on in the lives of those she touched.
