Ellen F. Baker

Ellen F. Erickson Baker died on June 27, 2025 at the age of 85. She lived in Westminster, MA. She was born in Milford, MA on July 24, 1939 to the late Andrew Erickson and Vivienne Mae (Bruce) Erickson. She was married to Sergeant Gerald J. Blake for 21 years of Watertown, MA. She was also married to William R. Baker for 15 years of Newton, MA.
Ellen was a graduate of Milford High School with the Class of 1957. She worked at Raytheon of Waltham, MA. Following her marriage, she became a cake decorator. She also worked for 14 years in the travel industry as a programmer and a meeting planner. She was also an archery coach and instructor.
She is survived by her daughter Catherine A. (Blake) and her husband David C. Ward of Acton, MA and her son Richard M. Blake of Derry, NH along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her dearest lifelong friend, Dr. George R. Bozzini of Washington D.C.
She was predeceased by her sister Lois A. LaPan and her husband Donald. Also her twin brothers Robert A. Erickson and his wife Jean (Banas) Erickson, Richard B. Erickson and his wife Marcia (Davidson) Erickson.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, July 2nd from 4:00-7:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. Interment in Vernon Grove Cemetery, 100 Depot Street, Milford, MA will take place on Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00AM.
