Ellen Baker

Ellen Baker, age 90, of Russellville, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at her home. She was born January 20, 1936, in Armstrong Springs, to Noel Elza and Sadie Elizbeth Armstrong.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Russellville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Baker; and two brothers; and six sisters.

Survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law, Benny and Debbie Baker of Russellville, Ron and Ann Baker of Fayetteville, Mike and Tammy Baker of North Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Joey Baker (Stephanie), Krista Geurian (Paul), Ronny Baker, Sara Karstetter (Clint), Melissa Baker, Dustin Baker (Melissa), Cory Baker (Molly) ; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 Friday, March 6, 2026, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Tony Griffin officiating. A private interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
