Ellen Carr, 86, of Smithtown, New York passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 4th, 2025.
Ellen was born on February 10th, 1939 to John and Margaret Wren. Growing up on the upper west side. Ellen was one of six children and the last of the Wren family to pass.
Ellen married Brock Carr September 26th, 1959 and had four children. Ellen is survived by her children Brock, Regina, Laura, and Wade, two son-in laws Tim and Greg, and four grandchildren Timothy, Carson, Griffin, Ryder, and her dog Mel Mel.
Ellen was kind, with a calming energy and easy-going demeanor that family and friends will surely miss. She was known for her love of animals, especially dogs. From her early childhood years to the very end with a dog by her side.
While we are so deeply saddened by her loss, we know she is reunited with her husband, siblings, friends and all her past puppies in heaven. Forever we will miss you!
