Ellen Fawley 80, of Inkster, Michigan, passed away on March 21, 2024. 

Ellen was born in Detroit on September 12, 1943, to Victor and Florence Wojewski.  She graduated from Wayne-Westland Schools in 1975. 

Ellen was married to Fredrick Fawley on April 8, 1961; they were married 39 years.

Early in her years, Ellen worked as a photography developer for Fox and Modern Foto laboratories then spent her remaining years as a homemaker, growing her family, developing her hobbies of gardening, crafting, flower arranging and a love for quilts and animals.  She was a former member of the Local 337 International Brotherhood of Teamsters. 

Ellen is survived by son, Frederick Fawley; daughter, April Fawley; grandchildren, Preston, Heather, Malcolm, and John Kyle; four great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Root; brother-in-law, Daniel Root and nephews, Jeffrey, Evan and Nathan. 
 
Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Fawley; son, Todd Fawley; parents, Florence and Victor Wojewski and brother, Daniel Wojewski.

Visitation for Ellen will be held Monday, April 8th from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 4:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154.

Memorial donations in memory of Ellen may be made to either the Michigan Humane Society or St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
