Ellen Hall Obituary
Born of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia she is predeceased by John and Martha Hall, and her brother John Wayne Hall (Sydney); survived by her children Heidi (Chris Easterbrook) and Matthew (Kirby Countway), and her siblings Gail Crosby (nee Hall) (Robert "Bob"), Rose Raftus (nee Hall) (David), Meryl Harding (nee Hall) (Burton, deceased), and Allan "Sonny" Hall (Debbie).
A protestant Christian of devout faith, she lived a quiet life amongst beautifully tended gardens in Carleton, NS. Her home was filled with her art, whether it be sketches, crafts or knitting; and also historical records of her family, lovingly detailed and organized.
She was a self proclaimed pioneer that carved her homestead out of the woods, and a fighter to the end surviving multiple bouts of cancer. A loving mother that gave far more of herself no matter how little or much she possessed.
A small gathering of family and close friends will be had at Contentment Lodge at 396 Perry Road July 23, 2023 beginning at noon. All are welcome to come and honoour her memory at that time.
