Ellen A. (Flynn) Harris of Norton, formerly of Mission Hill, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Ellen was the beloved wife of over 40 years of Gerard â??Jerryâ? Harris, and was a devoted mother of Jeremiah Harris and his spouse Katie Rogers of New Bedford, and Kayla Harris and her spouse Travis Shipp of Rehoboth. She was the dear sister of Kevin Flynn, Marie McGowan, Merilyn Tancredi, James Flynn, Charlotte Golden, Timothy Flynn, Kathleen Ames, and the late Peter and Henry Flynn. She was a loving grandmother and "Ninsta" of Kian and Miah Harris, and Lillian and Silas Shipp. Ellen and Jerryâ??s oldest grandchild, Landon Harris, has been raised by them since he was very young, and Ellen was a mother to him. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Ellen grew up in Jamica Plain and attended Mission High School. In her twenties, she met her loving husband Jerry. Together "on the Hill" they shared countless laughs and memories with family and friends. Ellen worked as a paralegal for many years at Rackemann Sawyer and Brewster Law Firm in Boston, which she loved and took pride in. She dedicated her life to raising and supporting her two children, never missing a sports game or school activity. She loved gardening, music, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ellen always found humor in the little things and could be counted on to share a good laugh with any time. Her love, laughter and strength will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

A Catholic Mass will take place in the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) 1545 Tremont St. Boston on Monday, November 3rd, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment is Private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ellen may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168 or www.dana-farber.org www.dana-farber.org/ .
