Ellen Howlett

Mrs. Ellen (Gubernick) Howlett, age 76, of Lynnfield, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 2nd. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Howlett with whom she had shared 44 years of marriage.
Born and raised in New York, Mrs. Howlett was the daughter of the late Isadore and Loys (Safier) Gubernick. A resident of Lynnfield for the past 36 years, Ellen was a former medical receptionist for North Shore Physicians Group. She enjoyed spending time at the Lynnfield Senior Center and was a member of the Friends of Lynnfield Library.
Mrs. Howlett is survived by her two children, Valerie Palermo and her husband Richard of Lynnfield and David Howlett and his wife Jennifer of Greenlawn, NY and four grandchildren, Emma and Hailey Palermo and Jaxie and Haven Howlett. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Gubernick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Wednesday from 9 – 9:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield. Arrangements by Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home.
