Ellen L. Liss, age 83, nee Osoff; beloved wife and best friend of Harvey Liss for 64 wonderful years; loving mother of Michael (Linda) Liss and Nancy (John) Freund; adored grandmother of Mitchell and Loren Liss; devoted daughter of the late Morris and the late Edna Osoff; cherished sister of the late Barbara (late Lester) Lopata; fond sister-in-law of the late Frances (late Arman) Mandell and the late Edith (late Seymour) Gabiner; treasured aunt of Randee (Wayne) Rubinstein, Mitchell (Stacey Peterson) Lopata, Maxine Mandell, Jerry (Betsy) Mandell, Janice (Jeffrey) Smith, Marla (Charles) Alexander, Layne (Carol) Gabiner and Jared (late Karen) Gabiner. Ellen was an accomplished pianist and charter member of the Skokie Concert Choir. We have truly lost a piece of our hearts and someone very special. Private services will be held.
