Ellen Meier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ellen Meier, a beloved mother, sister, and friend. She passed on Thursday, January 2nd, following a brief illness, with her devoted daughter, Tammy, by her side.
Ellen was an adventurous and athletic soul. An avid skier, she found joy on the slopes, and during summers at Upper Greenwood Lake, she loved water skiing, relaxing on the beach, and gathering around the campfire under the stars.
Professionally, she found fulfillment in her role as a secretary for SCM, NY, where she formed treasured and lasting friendships.
Her kind spirit, adventurous heart, and love for her family and friends will forever be remembered.
She was predeceased by her long time companion Jacque "Frenchie" Rochon; her cherished canine companion, DogDog; and her brother, George Stoessel.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Tammy, and son-in-law, John Boccardo; her former spouse, John, and his wife, Elizabeth; her sister, Marge Maley, and brother-in-law, Bill; as well as her adored granddog and grandkitties, who brought her endless smiles.
Visiting hours were held on Sunday, January 5th from 2-4 pm with a prayer service at 3:30. Donations in her name made be made to the good work of All For the Paws Rescue, P. O. Box 2281, Perth Amboy NJ 08862.
